I just saw an item on the BBC london news: since 10am this morning, all 999 calls in London are having to be taken down with pen and paper because a new computer system was introduced in the early hours of this morning and then it crashed.

Fuck's sake, London.

Also, my little fishy friend Saul is getting better at last. He's had a bad swim bladder for a long time and has been unable to do much else other than float belly-up at the top of the water.
