She posted her Elinda bit yesterday and she KNOWS it always makes me ship Lucy/Carl, hard, and so this popped out of my tonight at a truly ungodly hour of 3am and so it's pretty crackficcy but I am amused and I hope she is too.A large Dragon dropped rather ungracefully into the garden

Obviously I went to bed far too early last night! LUCY. CARL. GRUMPY CHRYS STEPPING ON THE KALE. You know how this makes me want to write the Quest for real, don't you.

Poor flustered Carl, and Lucy is just so clueless and still sort of thinking of him as the little boy and just askfgdkal I love them together SO MUCH.

Poor hungry Chrysophylax! I hope the bucket of milk is just the start of the supply of sustenance. And Carl, last seen at five years of age, is suddenly startlingly gown up! :) This was very cheerful, and full of hints about a whole world behind! (I especially liked the "Archen gentlewoman's cap".)
