Moral dilemma

I'm about to move my fics to AO3 and I have this problem with a co-written TYR fic, 2313. I don't know how to reach the co-writers since the fic was written ages ago (2001!) and their emails must have changed since my mails back with a "user unknown ( Read more... )

You CAN credit a co-writer on Ao3... I don't know if they need to have a valid pseud already registered on the archive account or not necessarily, but there is definitely a box to credit a co-writer, so you could still hopefully try to upload and give credit.

Where does your info come from about Angelfire closing? I have Doyle Investigations and my own fic site on there.

Oh, thanks for the info! I could always credit the pseudonyms without email links.

I have no idea if it's really closing but it's been diminishing the storage size of the accounts for a while and newer site technology is not being implemented. Still can't use Dreamweaver updating system for the site :( and to do it manually just pisses me off. Maybe it's better if you have a paid account, I don't know but I am not liking the very old system they have for the free sites.

Plus, who would ever find the fics if it's not in an archive? And FF doesn't allow NC.17, damned them!

hi.

I, for one, loved that story, and I've been re-reading it over the years a few times.

you can always save your stories on LJ, can't you?

I'm not exactly trusting LJ at the moment :\

I'll try and move the over to AO# and still let them be on angelfire as a backup. Question is, which site goes down first?
