The only thing I can ever think of when I hear that name is that blonde Tok'ra from 4th or 5th season of SG-1, the one that had those enhancement wrist bands that Jack, Sam, and Daniel got addicted to. Not that that is a bad thing, more of just an observation.

My first impression is, Anise sounds more South American than Central American. Meaning, it sounds like a name you'd hear in Brazil than Mexico. Have you traced her family's nationality?

No, not yet. I'm still working out some basic stuff. If I do use "Anise" I'll keep in mind that the name is more South American than Central American. Thanks!
