This is appropriate for me. I happen to know that hyperventilation causes respiratory alkalosis because you are blowing off too much carbon dioxide. Did you know that, or is that something that will help to prove I am fit to be called (in a year or so) a class B physician's assistant?

I know it, but the only reason I know it is because I read The Andromeda Strain on a semi-regular basis. So that doesn't count.

I am sure you won't have any trouble proving you can do anything you set your mind to. Random medical and biological knowledge can only help :)
