          Carradine fumed as Khan disconnected. The commander just shrugged -- his station wasn't full of marshmallow. In fact, he was rather glad that Storvik and Lothar had made this visit such a quick one.
          Still, he was somewhat embarassed to have missed the alert on the fugitives. "Let's go to my office and report this to Starfleet," he suggested.
          Neither one was eager to explain how two wanted fugitives had slipped through their fingers so easily...
