Well the weekend away had its ups and downs. Mostly it was relaxing and lovely and I didn't think about my thesis once. I believe flea eggs are capable of hatching because a host creature arrives...

Yep, those fleas know that you're around alright. Something to do with the vibrations in the floor wakes the eggs up. It's why you always need to flea-bomb twice - once to get the live ones, and then again when the next wave wakes up.
