My eye is so swollen I can barely open it. It's some weird thing where it's like oozing mucas and stuff. I'm sure you wanted to know that. It isn't pink eye, but it's horrible. And I can't see very well. And I need to be at work today to get shit done, but I kinda need my eyeballs. Especially since it's in pain. I took Tylenol and am holding a warm ( Read more... )

Ooohh.. I'm sorry your eye is all ookie and stuff! I wonder if something bit you in the middle of the night... maybe you should have someone look at it, just in case. Feel better soon cause, yeah I'm selfish, I like reading your fan fics... plus I don't like it when people I like feel bad! *HUG*

It's actually been swelling a little bit off and on for a few days but it hasn't been *that* bad. Unfortunately until my paycheck and/or my refund from financial aid comes through, I don't have enough in my account for even the copay at the school doctor. Fun, huh? :sigh:

*hugs* Hope your eye is improving since you first posted that, chica! A girl I work with had a similar thing going... lol but we were evil and convinced her that the stuff oozing out was actually part of her eye and that she was going to go blind if she didn't get it looked at right away. O:-) We're nice like that. But seriously, maybe try alternating the warm cloth with an ice pack or something? Isn't ice supposed to help with swelling issues? (heh. you'd never guess, but i actually come from a family of medical people... two EMTs, a PA in training, and a nurse, lol, but do I know anything? Nope.)

*more hugs* feel better! and I'm sure Wes will still find you beautiful, swollen eye or no, lol.

Yeah, I tried both those things. It's slightly less swollen but still kinda awful. Now I have this lovely painful knot under the skin right by where my jaw meets my ear. I feel dumb not even having enough for the school doctor. My boss felt so bad she offered to loan me the money which is incredibly sweet but I'd feel too guilty taking her up on it. I just hope it all stops soon. I'm in at work anyway because, well, I felt awful not doing anything.

*hugs* I know the feeling, trust me. I had to stock up on contacts a few months ago because my insurance wasn't going to cover me while I take this semester off from school. My wisdom teeth are coming in, but I can't afford to have them pulled (nor, I don't think, can I get the time off both jobs to do so, at least not any time soon!) and... ugh. Insurance is so stupid and stressful. Anyway, what you have sounds exactly like what my brother just got through having. I don't know exactly what all he did for it... took the tylenol like you did, but I think eventually he got some sort of eye drops that improved the situation. *more hugs* Isn't there any sort of free or walk in clinic you could go to around there?

No free clinics, nope. The school doctor is cheap, just not as cheap as the amount of money I have left. Gotta wait till I get paid. heh

Luckily Wes is home, so I can mooch off of him now. Going to call the doctor when they open in a few minutes and try to get an appt. for today.

Get the money from Wes and get into the doc today. That's an order. He's your mate, he gets to breath in your essence, and that is worth millions. Tell him I said to beg borrow or steal, but get into the doc. Everyone is broke now, amerika is crashing fast, and so many of these dumb people can't even see what bushyboy is causing even tho they're suffering thru it everyday.

He wasn't home, so I couldn't get money from him the other day. Hopefully I can get an appt. this morning.
