is right....Kara was a aparition the whole time wtfrak and they all just live there dying away...omg omg omg....and Anders goes off into the sun and dies? omg see you at two doctors....I cannot believe, hey I did cry tho!! dammit!!
I'm so torn between the emotional side of me that doesn't want to let these people go and the intellectual side of me which is just wtfrakking all over the place. *sigh*
LOL I did until season four. I do think there are parts of the show that have been extremely well written and executed and although S3 slipped off the tracks, I had chalked it up to the network's insistence on standalone episodes. But Season Four proved that THEY NEVER HAD A FRAKKING PLAN and just decided to write things that sounded cool at the time w/o actually thinking them through. BSG had a lot of potential, but in the end, became a total let-down.
THIS IS THE PERFECT EXAMPLE OF WHY YOU NEED TO KNOW HOW A STORY ENDS BEFORE YOU START TO TELL IT.
yes, right? i couldn't help but keep thinking during all the episode, that all that was happening was because of final minute decisions, remembering they didn't even know about the final 5 and the opera house when they made up the story, and everything else. That's the reason i stopped watching Lost, but i never thought it would happen to BSG too.
Yeah, I totally agree. The whole episode gave me the distinct impression that they wrote a lot of things from seasons 1-3 thinking they sounded cool...like killing Kara and bringing her back, making Hera super special, the opera house...and wrote those things in thinking they'd figure it all out later. Only they never did figure it out. This episode came across to me as a painfully obvious attempt to tie together a bunch of plotlines that they never fully thought out. I never thought I'd say this, but I have more faith in Lost to pull out a good finale...I think that unlike BSG, they've actually been planning things far in advance and know where their story is going. I trusted RDM to write blindly and still pull it together in the end, but he really let me down. :/

Thanks. It's good to know I'm not alone.
Coherency is gone now, maybe more later.

I'm glad I'm not alone too. *hugs*

I didn't want my favorite show to turn into that kind of pseudo-philosophical lecture.
How do I get into the Two Docs chat, I'm kind of curious about it? My coherency may be returning. :)
