Does anyone know how long one should really cook meat?

I've tried to cook it at various times, but I've either burnt it to a crisp or it's too raw. I've never actually learnt how to cook, so I'm only going by guessing, so any help I would be grateful for.

I've never tried it. Maybe should try different levels of heat and see what works best.

I never thought about different heat before. I just thought it was something to do with time.

Well, maybe you could watch your cooking carefully the first time. If you smell something burning....sorry, I don't know much about this.

It's fine. I don't know anything about cooking myself, but I have to learn in order to basically eat.

Well, the heat makes a difference, if you're baking it, you usually want it around 200 degrees celcius, on a fire it's a bit trickier. The way to tell most of the time is if it doesn't have blood anymore, but it can have a little bit. You don't want it crispy, you want it brown. Maybe the easiest thing you could do is make a beef stew. You can't really overcook it then.

It's like a vegetable soup but you put beef in it and a bit of milk. Usually has carrots, potatoes, celery...stuff like that.

Oh! I could try that, but I'm not sure if Alice would eat it.

Don't cook it if you don't know how. You'll make everyone sick.

But there's only so much pre-cooked food one can have.

Only if you want to die from poorly-cooked meat.

So, how else can I learn?

Grandma always cooks it for about 20 minutes. Could be longer or not.

Thank you for helping, I'll make sure that I try to cook it for that time and see what happen.
