It is a lesson I have learned belatedly.

[Frog's mistake was to assume a god of the dead would be a neutral force, if not benevolent. He never realised just what Hades was like.]

I have spoken with him, and he has admitted it was his doing. It would seem he derives amusement from all this. [ croak ]

He probably thinks it's justified.

Kind of suspected he'd be that kind of guy. Seemed pretty obviously shady.

I believed a god would conduct himself with some measure of responsibility. I was mistaken in that assumption.
