[She's not afraid of being shot; he'd have to line up a shot for that first, and she's already moving. There's no doubt that she's exhausted, but now she's running entirely on adrenaline. She rolls to the side and sets her feet before she throws out a fist to punch him squarely in the jaw.
At least if he's choosing to fight her she can get away with doing it more than once.]

[There's nothing behind her, so she falls back to avoid the blade and kicks out a leg to sweep his off the ground. Whatever's gotten into him, it seems the best thing to do now is knock him out before he hurts someone. Especially with Zell in such a fragile state.]
