[Yuiko had tried hard to be able to calm the thing down, but it only made it freak out even more and in turn made Yuiko panic even more.]

[It was pretty cold and she was pretty much covered up, except her head which had some ear muffs upon her head.

It had taken her a good few moments before she heard someone else and turned her head slightly.]

Here! [The boy hops back down and goes over to the girl before gently sliding the food towards the creature's feet.]

Maybe she's just hungry.

[She watches curiously as the boy had gone to get something that looked like a star off a tree. She had to wonder curiously just what that was exactly. She had seen it many times, but never really asked what it was called.

Upon realising it was for the poor creature and the fact it might be hungry Yuiko looked surprised because she didn't think of that.]

I guess it must be, though I don't know if it had managed to get food before now.
