[A sudden blast of Darkness is enough to cause the comm to tumble around and turn on, revealing...well, Darkness. A pulse of power and wind just thrashing all around.
And judging by orange hair that occasionally enters the frame, it's probably obvious who it is being smacked by this storm.]

Is that a duel disk?
[Yep. He is in the business now, moving over to stare.]

...these dates. They're about ten years, if not more, in the future. The original program of the duel disk has been re-written. Not completely but enough to be an all-around upgrade.

The first upgrades - mainly involving the streamlining of summoning higher-tier monsters - had definitely started ten years into the future, but many of the dates were far further than that. It is quite amazing how the game was streamlined and expanded at the same time. The most recent upgrades obviously involved riding duels and their separate rules, naturally.]

More files began to appear the dates jumping drastically. Ten, fifteen, twenty- the upgraded systems never stopped! Seto became nervous, he knew his style of coding and this was not his own. Heck, he couldn't really recognize it by then. He frowned.]
And here you were blaming me for your misfortune. By these dates, I'm either dead or obscenely old. More than likely dead.

[...Actually, no one really knew. People just knew that KaibaCorp was the biggest monopoly ever.]

[He's typing away now looking for a name. He always proudly incorporated his name into his programs as a signature. He couldn't find it.]

[Oh, its there, but its more of a copy and paste job done by an anonymous, mass production coder working from previous jobs, than something that Kaiba himself would have personally coded. Its also a small file, in comparison to the 'For intended use in Neo-Domino City only, unauthorized duelists will be de-activated' code that seems to be pesky and un-deletable, and which can only be masked by some more irritating code.
What's more interesting, on the other hand, is who did personally code their name into it, as if to point out they modified it. 'Pearson'.]

[Pearson, hu? He paused his memory not exactly recollecting anyone with that name. Point being, the guy was an asshole and Seto didn't like him. Messing with his program. Turning dueling into death matches. Yeah. No wonder Crow was a jerk, the guy was traumatized. Why am I punished with this?]

That you can disable guns with cards. That your company really does control the world. That you've killed your board of directors several times when they didn't do what you wanted.
You know. Stuff like that.
[Big mouths indeed.]

I have disabled guns with cards. No, my company does not control the world, and no I have never killed my board of directors. They have tried to kill me more times than one and there's no point in killing them if firing them hurts what they care about the most: their wallets.
You don't have to tell me. I know first hand the sick things people would do for money.

[And the files finished downloading, he unhooked the duel disk and removed it from his laptop. He shut it smartly and just stood there.]
It's clear to me somebody has been tainting my company and when I found out who it is, I'll take back what is rightfully mine.

[At this he points to the mark on his head.]
