The only alternative is to be accosted by spirits and ghosts. They break things and makes all kinds of noises throughout the night. It's unbearable.

[Ever since he discovered his costume, Anakin began to avoid people too. Hearing Padmé and sensing distress was enough to motivate him out of his room. He tries running, but nothing feels quite right, almost as if his limbs are too long for his body. Still, he reaches her quickly, but it's not his voice that speaks but it is his voice. Even the armor isn't enough to filter out his current shock. He doesn't know whether to be angry at the idea of anyone else seeing this, or if he should enjoy the view. Maybe both.]

Padmé...?

[She should have been comforted by Anakin's presence, but with the whole costume, and the voice, she can't quite identify him. Neither can Eirta, so the little Growlithe is barking at black-clad Anakin.]

Who--?

[Anakin doesn't want to be angry, and he's not at Padmé or Eirta. Her uncertainty, and the Growlithe's aggression makes it hard though, and he finds himself blaming whatever brought this whole stupid thing on. He holds open his cape, offering it to her.]

It's Anakin. Me.

[She looks at him suspiciously for another moment before she whispers a few soothing words to her guard dog and gives herself to the cape that was offered to her. Anakin won't betray her; she trusts that.]

What kind of costumes are these?
