[Riku'd sensed the surge of Darkness almost as soon as it became, leaping out of his window towards the source. Heartless gathered to strong lights and the Keyblade, so when he identifies the location, it's all he can do to contain himself when he runs into the house.]

[And the Heartless...hops off Oswald, scampers to Riku and begins to try and gnaw on his shoelaces. IT'S LIGHT! THE KEYBLAAAADE!! LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!!!

[Riku's Keyblade is out but this Heartless wasn't behaving normally. It should have dropped into a puddle of shadow by now, with a Keyblade so near. Frowning and almost hesitant, he reaches out to it, trying to sense it. His nose told him it was Darkness. A Heartless. But what would a more cursory examination reveal...? So he picks that Heartless up form his shoelaces and dangles it forth. Much like Oswald.]

[Well, the examination as it dangles reveals that the Heartless is starting to drip shadows off of its body. The Keyblade is doing its work, somehow doing it slowly around this particular one, but doing it nevertheless.
