strawberryburst NAME A PAIRING FROM ANY OF MY FANDOMS
(I don't have to like the pairing, I may never have considered it before, but name any pairing you like as long as I know the fandom!)
And I will talk about:
1. Whether I like it or not.
2. Why I like it if I do.
3. What would make me like it if I don't.
4. If I'd

1. Whether I like it or not: Somehow, I don't really see it. I almost prefer the brother/sister dynamic, and it's how I see it in the canon. Artemis is described as 'fond', and I don't think that's really a basis for a pairing
2. Why I like it if I do.
3. What would make me like it if I don't. Well, if they were given more screentime and dialog together, maybe.
4. If I'd write it/rp it. Prolly not. Good golly, I don't think I've ever written Juliet before. One day, this must be remedied.

Ummm damn it's hard to ask Hunger Games without you having read the whole thing, but Katniss/Peeta?
(Also, if you don't want to do that one, Opal/Artemis)

GAH, yes, I agree with all of your points on #3. Things change a bit after you read Mockingjay, but lkdsfjasdlkfjlkj cannot say anything here because spoilers = not cool. But let me know if/when you do and THEN we can finish this discussion. I haven't really talked about HG much because I'm not really into fandom, and the one person I know who's into it (Meova) isn't online much at the same time as me and then we talk about other things instead. Oh yesssss. I mean, Peeta's always seemed like luggage, emotional or physical. Gale took care of himself and Katniss' family after she was gone, and she seems to have a really tight feeling of trust with him. If you want to discuss the literary aspects of it here, I'm game. Or you could give me your msn xD

2. Why I like it if I do: where do I even /start/...well, they're equals on an intellectual and emotional level. That gets me hot and bothered like nothing else, for a start. They're both glorious bastards, and their mind games are amusing to write/read. They don't seem to exist in canon/fandom without the snark, and they look visually appealing together. I like them better as martyred lovers rather than angsty I-love-you-too-much-to-kill-you, unless it's like a normal AU or something, haha
3. What would make me like it if I don't.
4. If I'd write it/rp it: I have done it before. With terrible results. I should never be allowed to write this pair.

2. Why I like it if I do: fisherman/hunter=BADASS PAIR. Also, I think Gibari goes well with EVERYBODY, is prone to trust even shady characters like Savyna, and both have lost fathers to the empire, but find a way to live their own lives. I think they could relate.
3. What would make me like it if I don't.
4. If I'd write it/rp it: one day, I shall write that BK fic. ONE DAY.

1. Whether I like it or not. Not especially, no.
2. Why I like it if I do.
3. What would make me like it if I don't: My biggest problem with Matt: he's a 12 panel character. His personality is fairly consistent in the fandom, so maybe I would. I would've preferred that there was more to work with and interesting
4. If I'd write it/rp it: I'd give it some consideration. I don't dislike it, I just don't ship it as hard (I prefer M/N, actually)

1. Whether I like it or not: I don't know very much about Nordic history, but DenSu is totally my Nordic OTP.
2. Why I like it if I do: The dynamics are amusing to me, and they look good together. I'm all up for guys that look good when drawn together C: The Kalmar Union is my only excuse, despite my almost nonexistent knowledge over it
3. What would make me like it if I don't.
4. If I'd write it/rp it: one day, one day.
