I had all these nice plans to be on LJ more (and actually post!) but then my Mom came to visit and we went to Maui and I fell off the 'wagon' again, as it were. *sigh*

Maui was fantastic. We went zip-lining (it was Mom's idea even!), whale watching, saw the sunset atop Mt Haleakala, and spent a few quality hours at the spa. <3

zip lining is a lot of fun! you should definitely try it if you ever have the chance. :) and thanks. it was nice seeing my Mom have a good time while trying something new.

So... (and you don't have to answer this because it's nosy, and you've been pretty private about the whole thing, or you can PM me or whatever) what's been your strategy for this weight loss? (Also, come to think of it, you might've written about it and I missed it like the dork I am.) The 'we' in this entry has me intrigued -- are you working with a gym? What's your food plan like? Mostly the last one -- it's my continual struggle so I love getting stories and input from wherever I can, and our situations are similar enough I'm really really curious. ^^

*I* believe you'll get there in the end. So you should, too. :P
