I can completely understand where you're coming from on this. Fandoms were starting to bog me down as well. I've pretty much totally let them go. Now I just want to focus on personal relationships with the people I've missed from LJ.

Sometimes it is sad, but it's understandable and necessary. Here's hoping both of us can find out way back in and sort out what's most important to us. *HUGS*
