He does, but he gets jealous when I touch other guitars, or have any desire for a guitar that isn't him.

As a result, he hates hollow body electrics.

Guitars can be like that. Art, my friend who's teaching me to play, has a guitar that beats him when he doesn't give her enough attention. He calls it a love/hate relationship. He loves her and she hates him.
