Nice pun on the last line.

I think you manage to translate a level of facetiousness in everyday speech that is lost on many other fiction writers. I like it.

Thanks. I think much fiction is too fiction-y. Every character has a purpose, every scene a component in some larger tapestry. My experience is that sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
