While the Lord himself is occupied, he isn't entirely out of touch with what was going on elsewhere - Martel might not like his pinpoint, but he was willing to concede to its usefulness in times like these - and so it hasn't been too difficult for him to get a working understanding of what's been going on and start taking steps. Magda is newly angry with Leonato, and she comes separately from him; at least, as far as she's concerned, since he's probably following her at a distance.

She still looks worn and tiny, though there's also a fierce determination that's holding her limbs and ligaments together. When she gets to the place, she inclines her head, assuming her mother's air. She's still the princess.

"Lady," Ewar greets her, mild and polite but not especially deferential. He's younger than his serious face tends to indicate, but he might as well be twenty-five going on forty-five and it's easy to see fairly quickly why it is that Martel relies on him. "I'm Ewar, the swordmaster at Valdis. My lord'd be here himself if he could."
