Why are we going there? The ship will turn into an icicle.

No it won't! If we had gone in the winter, then it would be an icicle.

So now it'll just be a snow cone?

Right! And since snow cones are delicious, it shouldn't be a problem.

Aye, aye, sir! [*a soft snicker and /barely/ audible "I've always wanted to say that..."*]

Sir, I think we've not met. My name is Harlequin, at your service. I'm brand new to the ship. Are you the captain? S-sorry . . . just that I'm still learning who everyone is and what place on the crew they are.

Also, ah . . . d-do you happen to know how wood reacts to the cold? O-or . . . or perhaps someone who can make warm clothes for a doll-sized person?

No, I'm not the captain. I'm Vash, the first mate. It's nice to meet you!

If you ever do need the captain, he's pale, circles under his eyes, talks in a monotone... you can't miss him.

Wood? ... Doesn't it expand when it gets wet? But for clothes you'd better talk to Sophie, she's our tailor.

Ah! First mate, right. The pleasure's mine, Mr. Vash!

Um...okay...I'll remember that. Thanks!

Eh . . . y-yes, sir. Yes, it does. Rather painfully, if I may say as much.

Okay! Miss Jean suggested the same. Thanks again!
