So I did get into onto the course in the end despite failing to register in time. It's been nice having more humane amounts of work for a change *knocks on wood* and I should probably take the opportunity to find extra work but not sure I want to give up the free/recovery time. The BBC Shelocks version of The Master Blackmailer was terrible I would tell you but I would have to spoil the whole thing! Grandas Holmes went bonkers with mirror/reflection shots, I assumed it was to distract from Brett being so obv unwell. Watson2 was a good egg so I guess he could put up with Holmes.

Cool late 80's music would have to be rave! The Master would kill his enemies with bad 80's sax.

Yes I read something about how Moffat couldn't conceive of a female character doing anything proactive? Wish I was surprised.

While the Granada series can get to the point of being almost gimmicky with the reflection stuff (don't personally mind though) I think at least TMB was more... some scenes kind of reminded me of paintings? Also I do like their use of the dramatic colour lights and mist effects and such. :)
(Second Watson is so adorable and tiny. uwu)

Explains why his female characters are rubbish in 'Sherlock'. And explains the ending of TMB, apart from making Holmes look cool.

Watson2 was in 'Colditz' (the TV series) and I keep expecting him to start digging tunnels into mansions when him and Holmes go a visting:)
