I'm getting sick and tired of playing self-sufficient.
Of being alone.
Of feeling alone.
Of being oh-so way too independent.
Of feeling that I stand as one, backed by no one.
Of being without, when I'm supposed to have so much.
I can't be an island forever, but not even my friends seem to make me a part of something.
