what does it mean when you talk to friends or read their writing and you relate to everything they're feeling because you've already been there? - are you just farther along than they are on some grand path of life? - is there anything you can say or do to influence their thinking and decisions? - in a good way of course - or is it inevitable that

but that was more because i was drunk and less because he deserved it

im a fan of the youngerman journal myself
your writing reminds me of everything that was going through my head when i went to that wonderful prep school - but as much as that school sucks - if i hadnt gone there i might never have met some awesome kids like james, mike, pat, the yankous -and we had some awesome times - so in the end it was well worth it
