uh... i wasn't planning on it, but it does sort of need duo doing more than acting love-struck (and running into doors!)

let's see what the muses decide after all the christmas drabbles are finished. (i made the decision to not take on anything new until after the first of the year, since i seem to be falling down on committed projects lately).

yeah, mr smooth he wasn't! but i don't think heero really minded at all. and i'm sure duo's had plenty of time since to make up for it!

I smiled, feeling so much better now that we’d had this little talk

what a delicious little phrase, I can just see Duo nodding as he says it, though how he can call such a momentous night's work 'a little talk' amazes me *hehe*

and yes, the punchline was magnificent!!!!!

you know, i almost wrapped up the whole "shy boys getting together" thing in the 'evening' story, so i can leave the 'night' to them doing more than kissing... but, it would have totally thrown off the tone of the series. it was all about duo being clumsy in getting together with heero... the next series will be about duo being all clumsy in *cough*gettingiton*cough* with heero. ;)
