Gawd. I was waiting for this to post before I went back and read the whole series. That was incredibly heartwrenching and it shows so clearly all the different paths we can take in our lives.
well, i was really hoping to finish legacy before this point, but with work and the comp acting up, i haven't had time and when i have had time, i've been too tired to write on it.
and (just to humor me)...did you notice the title progression? of course, i'm sure you knew they were all the names of songs which can hint on those subjects mentioned. ;)
I loved the song titles as titles. It not only sets the tone for the fic, but it puts it in a historical persepective. The fact that piece of my heart and wildest dreams are two songs that I love just adds to that.
I stand by the pervious assertions that life should come with a soundtrack.
you liked? :) and yeah... i'm sorry. it's not that i wanted dorothy to die, but quatre acquireing his son is part of the main storyline. i couldn't see her giving him up for any other reason than that.
Oh man, poor Quatre. Dorothy dying and him finding about his son all at once. This is so very angsty.I love how the convesation is so short and yet it says so much. That last line was a perfect ending, and a fantastic way to drop the bombshell.
You do know I shall be pestering you for more of this arc none stop now, right? *poke* *pokepoke*
keep poking me, mis. every week i write another couple of sentences or a paragraph or two... and then something pulls me away. i so wanted to have legacy finished before this last bit, so it would make a little more sense... and i don't want to take that part out of legacy either.
