Now, if the relationship burns itself out, does that mean the pairing will be dropped and that will be the end, or does it mean that we can somehow randomly get them back together again? ;) It's too much fun! Don't wanna stop! XDD ♥
I really, really hate to do this, but I'm over word length. Again. And I don't think I can cut to 500 and have the piece make any sense. Again.
This installment really is one piece and not two, but it has a natural break point, so it would be possible for me to split it into two pieces of less than 500 words each. So if the rules allow for someone to do two pieces for one stage without having declared an intention to do so from the beginning, and without necessarily planning to go on having two pieces for each subsequent prompt, I can handle it that way and not have to ask for another exemption. Or, if it's okay and I'm not being too annoying with my apparent inability to comply with rules that everybody else seems to be able to follow, I can (obviously) post it at whatever its final length is, with attached apology.
Right now it's at 835 words, for what that's worth. I expect to cut a few in polishing, but alas, I don't think I can cut very much.
I really am sorry. I feel like such a prima donna with this, and I hate

Thanks. I'll see whether I can knock a hundred words or so out of the current monster without wrecking it. Come to think of it, it was at the Passion prompt last year that I remember thinking, "It's a good thing I'm only following along on the sidelines, and didn't actually sign up, because there's no way I can make the word limit on this round."
If it helps, the universal opinion of the victims friends I got to read the 500-word version of the Stage 1 piece turned out to be that it really did need the extra length, and didn't work at all without it.
i know that this is really short notice, but could i get a two-day extension for the atobe/sanada passion instalment? i have an extremely huge interview coming up on thursday which i cannot afford to screw up, and i'm spending all my time on that -> can't complete the drabble to my satisfaction.. i really hope that it's not too much for me to ask for >_< *bows*
Really sorry to do this, but I've been sick all week and I'm not entirely sure I'm going to be able to get my passion entry for Chitose/Oshitari Kenya done today. If I could have an extra 24 hours, that would be great.

And yet? I still feel guilty about it.
