Bee post the fourth

Jay and I split one of the meads tonight. Crafted from Wisconsin Wildflower Honey and Wisconsin Raspberries, Andy (whoever donated it, I am guessing) crafted it in December 2005, bottled it in October 2007, and then it proceeded to win 1st place at the WI State Fair in May 2008 ( Read more... )

I have only had mead once or twice but I recall liking it quite a bit and thinking that it was the only alcohol I'd ever tasted that I'd drink on a regular basis.

I will take 5 bee booklets, please!

Since she's in NoCal, it might be easier just to email her and let her know you're interested and have her mail them to you. I know they accept paypal if you don't want to mail a check...

Oh that's a great idea, thanks! Depending on where she is I might even be able to pick them up directly. I think I'm going to do a whole bee themed gift package for my mom this year; a booklet, a donation, some local honey and a bee teapot with some kind of tea that goes well with honey.

I mailed her a check so she wouldn't have Paypal fees taken out, and then emailed her what I'd done, and she's gonna drop mine in an envelope before she even gets the check. She's an absolute sweetheart (well, and I'm offering to pimp her program to some of the biggest gerden orgs in LA).

Several of the raffle/auction items were teacups/pots and I immediately thought of you, but I didn't wind up with any of them...
