Well, we signed for our house today. But they won't let us move in b/c we don't have any furnishings. *sigh* I have no problem w/ heading over to the PX and picking up a couple of air mattresses and cheap sheets and blankets. We do have that stuff in our advance shipment sitting in boxes in some warehouse over here. We can get that delivered

Nice house! And yes - just a little "white" but daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn. Nice digs. I'm loving that closet in the master bedroom! And can I tell you that my cousins in Italy have the same closet that you showed us from the first bedroom?!?!? LOL How funny is that! *g*

Very nice SL. Cant wait to see what it looks like once all your stuff arrives. And I really like the idea of a "sitting area." Sounds very cozy.

Do they have that contemp look? I swear it's like Ikea exploded over here. It's hard to find any antique looks here.

LOL Yeah - their bedroom was very modular and contemporary looking. The rest of the house, however, if antique-ish. With authentic antiques. *g* The two bedrooms are the only ones that look more contemporary.

OMG, every picture Nick sent me of houses he looked at had that modular IKEA look to it. I wanted Spanish charm and I'm ending up in a 70's brady bunch home.

Are your shutters wooden or metal? I so don't understand why they haven't taken off in the states, I think they are a great feature. The ones I had in Austria were metal but the ones I had in Italy were wooden.

They're not wooden, so either plastic or metal. I love how when they're closed it is DARK! LOL

No guest room, but I'll kick one of the kids out of his room for you. LOL

Awww I'd feel kinda guilty about that but I think I can get over the guilt. As long as nothing alive is lurking under the bed. LOL.

It is white! Still, it'll be nice to have your own place. The tiles make my feet cold. Those are some great photos. So, car - check. House - check. Good start!

Love it, SL. And I'm so glad you took "before" pics. Can't wait to see the Afters. What's up with them not letting you move until you have "stuff". Seriously? Dying to know where that policy came from.
