I have heard some good things about that Public Enemy record and everytime I think about picking it up, I think it's not going to be classic age PE and put it back down.
I'm curious as to what you think about this Vampire Weekend band. Their debut comes out tomorrow, reviewed pretty highly on pitchfork. It's kinda like a diet Is This It?but comes out with more Belle & Sebastian pop leanings. There's also a splash of afrobeats in it too, which makes it kind of hard to put down.
The latest P.E. is definitely worth your time. The music gets kinda generic, but there's only one Bomb Squad member left, so it's almost understandable.
