Some of us resemble Porky Pig already, much less without taking additional steps to look like a 1940s era cartoon.

And the right hat makes every man look dashing. I swear.

For 7 years I was in the US Army's Armored Cavalry, and wore cammy caps and combat helmets. Does that count? Or does it make me a godless militarist pig? I'm cool with that. SCOUTS OUTS, SIR!
When I was younger I wore a cowboy hat (not the baseball cap with the star, either). But mostly I've only worn baseball type caps.
I'll shut up now. Trip-toe-phin still messing me up, man.

Oh, I do love me some men in hats.
My soon-to-be-ex wears a dorky Tilley hat in the summer, but for cold weather is actually looks pretty good in a fedora.
Since men seem not to wear hats these days, I have taken up the fashion and have a bowler, a top hat, a fedora and one of those funny German hats with the feather in it.
About the dressing up with the Tux, I concur. If it's after 5pm, then a long dress is called for--call me old-fashioned, but if he is wearing a Tux, ain't no way I am letting him be prettier than me.
And also, I think wearing a tux automatically rachets up the guy's charisma by a +5, just sayin'.
I used to wear a tux myself back when I had the figure of a 1920s flapper. I'd wear the pants, jacket and vest sans tie and blouse/shirt.

See, I like wearing hats myself, and I look good in them, but they always make me feel self-conscious. Costumey, you know? They look good, but deep down I'm just not a hat girl, I guess--although I do wear them in winter.
