I've never been to SF. I saw it across the bay when I was in Berkely. I loathed Berkley, though.

You loathed Berkeley, eh? Yeah, it's not for everyone. I spent many years there, before moving over to the Foggy Side.

It was so beautiful, it really was, but it felt very Big Brother-y. I kept expecting the suede denim secret police to come for my uncool neice, to quote the Dead Kennedys. Like if one of my random thoughts strayed out of the "acceptable", they'd know it, and throw me in the bay. It was kind of creepy.

Very nice interview! Especially liked the tough "unasked" question. That's not an easy one to tackle or to dig into so kudos for the honesty.

Now I have to go back and finish taking the advice notes. (Thick skin, to hell with PA.) ;)
