Questions and thoughts

1. It's very odd to have today be just another day. Yes, this is our third 4th in the UK but for some reason this year it feels like a big deal. I think this is partly due to mentioning to Princess the other day that the 4th was coming up and having her not know what that meant. So she got a crash course in it, and now when you ask what today is, ( Read more... )

Instead of the toothpaste, I mean. :D

I once smeared toothpaste all over my bits after a drunken après-BBQ shower on some Caribbean island. Had a very different effect to the soothing prickly heat cream I thought I was applying.

OMG that's hilarious! (That sounds kind of awful of me, doesn't it? I laugh, laugh, laugh at your pain!)

Hey, at least your bits were minty fresh, though, right?

Oh my gawd - toothpaste in your eye? *Dies*

That is...not good. ;)

And dude, my 16 year old body? I thought I was soooo fat then. Pfft. I did NOT know what fat was. ;) I'd probably run around and flirt with all the guys I'd been too mortified to flirt with back then, because I was so much hotter than now. (Of course, I did have a weird haircut...)

sounds like the hubs co-workers have a great sense of humor. Sorry about your eye...nice score with the Golden Bough..one shouldn't be without it. If I could go to my 16 year old body..this time I would STAY AWAY from Iggy Pop. yikes!

here's one of those silly questions..if you could be any sign you wanted what would you pick?

Um, okay, you don't honestly think you can come here and imply you had a relationship of some kind with Iggy Pop and not explain, do you? You don't have to say it here but you better email me.

And in exchange, if I must, I will reveal the name of the famous rock star dude I used to date. Nowhere near as cool as Iggy Pop, at least not to me, but I gather a lot of people would disagree with me. Which frankly weirds me out.

Oh, and...hmm. I don't think I would necessarily change signs, but I'd love to get rid of those crappy Virgo tendencies from my rising sign. I really dislike it and blame it for all sorts of things.

Or, actually, I think I'd rather be a Sag, since I love them so. The guy I mentioned in my last blog post, the past-life guy? He was a Sag.

It's America's birthday!

My horoscope mentioned that yesterday, said that makes America a Cancerian. Like me. I don't know much about typical traits of your average Cancerian, except we're overemotional - which is quite accurate of America and I, come to think of it ;-)

Have a lovely day! :-)
