I've pre-ordered my copy! Fights are almost certainly going to break out in my house over who reads it first. My fiance was distraught when he finished City of Ghosts and I told him he'd have to wait a year for the next one. Of course, technically I've been waiting much longer, so I think I should be allowed first dibs.

is exactly my feeling on the topic. I usually will go all out to support the writers I enjoy, because I want to keep enjoying. But the one(s) with the "don't buy my book until the third full moon of the fifth month..." stuff...I want to buy a book. And send royalties your way (or chip away at the advance recoup, at least). And enjoy your characters
