Well, folks, this is my last scheduled blog post until after the new year. I'm officially going on hiatus until then. Unofficially, of course, I'll still come back and post if I have anything to rant about or share, but I'm not going to be sticking to my regular schedule for the next few weeks. If you want new eps, TBB CBS at 8, HIMYM right after. But early eps of both are now on dvd and I'd recommend starting that way.

BFF Cori adores How I Met Your Mother, and says it's one of the funniest shows ever. And since BFF Cori obviously has fantastic taste (she has *me* for a best friend, after all! Lol)...I'd say give it a go. I'd love to watch it but they don't show it here, or if they do it's only sporadically.

Have a very merry Christmas, etc...! I'm looking forward to seeing the redesigned website, and although I have no suggestions for things it should have PLEASE no pop-up boxes and whatnot when you click on links. They drive me mad on certain authors' sites.

Do you mean pop-up ads, or links that open into new windows? Like on the current site if you click "Blog", livejournal comes up in a new window. I did that because I like not having to back-click through tons of pages to get back to wherever I was, but maybe I'm the only one who likes that?

Of course the site will be ad-free. :-)

Links that open into new windows. It's fine if, like you say, it's from homepage to blog etc, but I've been on some sites where you end up with a dozen windows all over the place to get to a book description, and I'm just about OCD enough to find it untidy and annoying, lol!

Ah, okay. Noted. I'll probably still keep the blog in a separate window, as well as the links to the Publishing series and the Strumpet series, but everything else will be on-site pages; no new windows. (And I'll comment below the button that it opens in a new window.) Good? :-)

Lol, good idea. It might work for the writing, but how do I know the new DQ won't run around trolling the internet? Sigh.

Lol. Actually, December's only December release was a horrible failure, for reasons which had nothing to do with me or the book and everything to do with the horrible publisher I was dumb enough to sell that book to. It all worked out in the end, though; the publisher closed, I got my rights back, and it was reissued by Cerridwen Press. :-)
