Gaming excitement

Well, you have already seen my post on me moving my love of gaming and philosophy to the Indie game scene.  That is still true and it is gaining momentum as we speak.

Here are the games that I am excited about in the future...in no particular order.  Especially since we are trying to start a weekly game on Saturday to play whatever we want.  :)

1 ( Read more... )

trail of cthulhu, misspent youth, dresden files rpg, don't rest your head, evil hat, fred hicks, spirit of the century, mutant city blues

Have a blast for me! I miss the days when all there was to think about was whether to bring the red dice or the white ones and if we had enough 20 siders. 25 years ago we just gamed for days - only coming up for air when we ran out of food or drink. We, too, got to play test games (although for the life of me I can't remember a name) and it was always cool to know we were among the first to boldly venture into uncharted territory.
I just want you to know that I am living vicariously through you...It sounds like you are having a great time :)

I look at it this way. Life is busy. You work, you pay bills, etc. The weekends should be for you. :)

Hey, thanks for the mention Stacey. I should note that the kids are 12-17 and that I will be getting the books supposedly on August 7 but I might not be able to ship them at that time (Gen Con is essentially starting on the evening of 8/11 for me).

It has been a while since we played that session at the convention. Do not want to get the details wrong. :) We had fun, and I have already ran the game by my friends.

Saw it. I didn't get your by-email reply, it looks like, from searching around gmail. But now I have done secret things! Secret things that are not yet to be revealed!
