I love how raw and poignant this is. It also doesn't hurt that I'm a sucker for angst and who better to bring it than Booth and Bones. I could totally see their reunion playing out like this, no matter how heart breaking it will be at the time.

oh, this is really, really, awful for both of them. I do hope we don't get this in canon; it would be tragic.

Oh! The ache! This was so, so good. There is angst, right now. I don't think anything else would do them justice. Perhaps there is a way for her to find him, them again, though. First along the x, then along the y; slower, perhaps, a little bit longer, but there is a way. Thanks for sharing this, it was exactly what I've been feeling about them.
