Okay, I'm super picky and I generally avoid reviewing HIMYM fanfiction, but...

This was genius. Silly or not, I could still picture the whole happening on the show, and I laughed the whole way through it. And I so called Ted being Dawson! xD

Ooo! I was excited to see a HIMYM fic pop up in Story Lottery! :D

Okay, I was trying to figure out how a creek would play into a scene a McClaren's and then I reached 'The Creek Theory'. :P And then I was trying to figure out what a creek has to do with relationships when I got to 'Dawson's Creek.' BWAHAHAHA!!! Genius! :D I can so totally see Ted as being an expert on Dawson's Creek. ;)

And Lily for the win! :D “I know the WB better than anybody else at this table.” LOL Of course, she does. ;) Loved how she twisted around Ted's Creek Theory and pointed out the flaw in his logic. She's totally right. Barney and Robin are totally the ones meant for each other. :D

Never seen Dawson's Creek in my life, but I still enjoyed this. The dialogue is superb.
