I do wish the show made even a tenth or the effort you've made to actually turn Robin and Barney into real human beings.

Did The Playbook make you as angry as it did me?

SO ANGRY. UGH. I just...can't even...ugh.

They gave us such a teasing taste of who these two really are just to like dumb everything up with a fat suit and a Ken doll. I'm so not into it. The only hope I have is that maybe this guy will be some kind of impermanent tool they'll use to mature Robin like they matured Barney last season? Robin has to get over her commitment phobia too right?

Maybe?

Please?...

Glad you liked this fic anyway. Real human beings - AMEN TO THAT.

Beautiful fic. ♥

If only the show would start putting in effort to portray B/R half so well.
You addressed all of the issues that their relationship TRULY had rather than the bullshit the show is pushing. I needed this.

Thank you so much, I needed something, too, so I figured might as well try to hash it out myself.

I can't believe they're trying to brush this amazingly ripe relationship under the rug like this - it's killing me.

Well, you did a very good job, I thought. :)

I think every Barney/Robin shipper alive needed something. Badly.

I didn't even realize how much in love with this pairing I was until the writers tore it out from under me. And I don't even understand WHY?! :(

All they had to do was write Barney & Robin the same as always except instead of having sex with other people, they have it with each other. Bros with Benefits. Two people who are deeply in love but would never admit it to anyone out loud. In short, all I asked for was the Barney/Robin I saw at the end of "Definitions".

Guess I'll have to learn to be content with fic alone. :)

This was so well done. I wish the writers could articulate this so well :/ But you! You are awesome - this was so beautiful and sad and angsty and true to their characters.

Thank you!! I couldn't resist trying to explain some of this annoying and foolish behavior they're tossing at us.

Always a joy to read your fic! Your characterizations are always brilliant and the story lines can be heartbreaking but beautiful. Your dialogue was fantastic too.

on another note.. reading this reminded me of John Denver Said it Better and it made me wonder if I ever commented on the brilliance of the original character in that, agh college life keeping my fic commenting to a minimum , I apologize

Thank you, what great compliments. I'm glad you saw the beauty in the heartache ;-)

Yes I need to get back to John Denver. I'm so glad you like Anne, she's quite a pip. And I hear you, my work life has been totally distracting me from all things fic and I'm missing my Livejouranl world desperately!

Perfection. I'm so angry about the way the writers have handled this and you've written this so beautifully, I wish it has been in yesterday's episode.

I'm angry too so i had to write something. Thank you so much for feeling like this healed a little of that empty feeling the writers are leaving us with right now.
