The "seconding" comments do sometimes get out of control, but I'm not outright opposed. I just think you should only leave them when you really, really like a prompt.

Maybe you could allow seconded comments on open posts, but as soon as a it closes just go through and delete all useless responses. That would make it easier to tell when a request has been filled.

When you mean fanart gets its own do you mean where people give out fanart prompts in another post? or if one was inspired to one of the fic prompts in the first the parts, instead of responding under the comment, they comment on a fanart post....

Cause I've been inspired by a few of the fanfic prompts (and sometimes even the responded fanfic) for art more than writing, and it'd be nice to post even if they mean they wanted art... Plus I've a few fanartist friends who'd like to join in on the fun... =D

Well they don't have to post the image like a macro, they can just post the url and warn if the image is nws or for how nws it is (like if it's just naked torsos, naughty bits are showing, or something) in the subject line, so it'll still be a choice.

I like 'second' comments. I think the comments on the prompts are totally what make this community unique. This community even though it is filled with anonymous people, I still feel like I am close to everyone and that we have fun and we get shit done when we need to and we have a good ole laugh. For the most part I've only ever seen maybe 3 argument TYPE things happen and they ended after about 2 comments. So this community is pretty drama-free and shit and I like the fact that if I really like a prompt I can second it so that other people who that there is more than one person who likes the prompt :D

I have found second comments are really great in this community as well. I think it can be really rewarding to the prompter to know that they are not alone in what they like and also more of an encouragement to the writer to know that they will have more people who want to read it once the prompt has been filled.

The archiving system for this community is excellent (even though I'm new to this kinky stuff xD) so I don't find seconded comments to be in the way or annoying as such. I like being able to choose what kinks and what characters. It is so good that I've even suggested one of my other favourite kink communities to try the same bookmarking system :)
