I really loved the Gaila dance, and the way she was able to find a bit of home with her Sisters. Beautiful images of them dancing.

I also really loved the Sarek/Kirk/Spock part, much more than I expected to. Your take on Sarek was quite interesting, I don't think I've seen any fic about his loss of Amanda. I believe you are correct in your assessment of his emotional state. It was a pleasant surprise to think of Jim as having a similar mind to Amanda's.
