Well, I can certainly sympathise. I was a little teary eyed myself when we were doing the parts where Jim was supposedly dead. I knew he wasn't...but it didn't feel that way. And i'm glad you loved it. :D

I love the story, it makes my OT3 heart very, very happy. The Enterprise making sure that Jim gets home is sweet, and the three just perfectly work together here, professional and still bonded/caring/in love.

The video - fitting song choice! Makes for quite a sad and touching songvid. I've got to admit that I missed Bones in the first part but that's my only quibble with it. I adore TMP, especially for the threesome vibes in it, and you picked all the best scenes from it and merged them beautifully with TOS and STII/III, very well done!

EDIT: I just downloaded it and keep listening to it because it really rings a wonderful TOS bell for me, after being so focused on Reboot for months. Thank you. YUM.

The way I download YouTube vids is through using RealPlayer, which you can find if you google it. Then, I convert the files from flv to whatever I want using Next Video Converter (tis absolutely amazing, the FREE version converted my ST I, II, III, and IV DVDs each in about forty minutes).

I use the FireFox-AddOn "DownloadHelper" for that, works quite well :)

*wipes eyes* That was wonderful! Almost broke my heart when they believed Jim was dead, but I loved it that Enterprise was not going to leave without her captain. Made me smile that the lifts worked perfectly for Bones.

And Bones finally losing patience with the Security detail and taking a phaser and rescuing Jim was the best! I loves me some BAMF!McCoy and not just in surgery and sickbay!

The video was beautiful, too!
