Alright. So I went with my mom to a late showing of it Friday night - at the Warren, of course - and I liked it. It was pretty good. Here's a picture of the *three* of us before I get down to business. :p

Nice review of the movie, not sure if it makes me want to see it more or less, but it pretty much confirmed my suspicion that, unfortunately, the Hatter would be the weakest link. Ah well, I should still check it out I'm sure. Anyway, I was just wasting time at work and wanted to put in my two cents. Have a good one!

Yes, the Hatter was a bit of a damper for me; nothing against Johnny Depp because he was great as the Hatter, but I didn't like what the writers did for his character. He was in it too much without much of a purpose. I say definitely check it out; it's enjoyable, but I haven't had a "omg, I need to see that again and again!" feeling over it yet like I've had with previous movies of Burton's.

i love johnny but im not sure i liked him in this movie. he was kind of weird in a way that wasn't fitting of the mad hatter.

anywhooo....i'm gonna get my belly pierced when i get all these damn fees paid off. wanna come? also.... i know what tattoo i want to get next.

The movie was deinitely better then I thought it would be and I definitely am glad that The Mad Hatter was not treated as the main character. Plus the actress for Alice made me eat my words and I loved her performance. I too loved the Cheshire Cat and thought he was absolutely adorable. While I still think they could have done better with the Queen of Hearts I still think it was very nice. Also the adaptation of the White Queen on this movie was really the best I have ever seen. So over all I really enjoyed this movie and thought it was very well done.
