so. there were a few notable and amusing things that happened to me today, and a few from the past week or so which i'll try to cover briefly

if he's 7'2" and skinny and scrawny, he needs to be drinking a lot of milk. preferably chocolate.

and we need to cogitate a mindless basketball dilemna. I'm just not sure which one.

the thing is, he's been here for 5 years, and each year there's some sort of story about how this year he's better and gained 5 pounds or whatever. the night that this happened, i actually spent some time thinking about this, and concluded that i could probably pick him up over my shoulder and carry him (pretty easily- i wouldn't even have to bend down much to do it), and he probably couldn't do the same for me. hence the 'poor guy'. he's destined to a lifetime of not being able to fit into airline seats and such, and he's not going to make it as a professional basketball player.

is there a more mindless basketball dilemna out there than the 'will phil jackson return to coach the lakers?' one?
actually, i've got one. steel cage match between dick vitale and digger phelps. who wins, besides everyone else?
