An old zine story/novel (FOUND)

Hi all. While we're housebound, I've been revisiting old stories. But there's an old K/S zine novel that I cannot recall the name of or the author. I loved the characterization of Spock in it. The detail that sticks out in my head is how he sleeps in his bed: all the covers in a pile, like a nest. I think they made reference to his evolutionary

Found my own request: Icefire by Ann Mara Crouch. It won the 1987 SURAK award for best novel. And I found it on eBay, yay.

I recognised it straight away, I’m so glad you’ve found a copy!
I first read it at a friend's place nearly 30 years ago, then about 15 years later I was outbid for it on eBay. Finally got my own copy 10 years ago. I always liked Nicolaus!
