A Second Chance by Starflight
It’s actially a reboot Kirk/Khan story but Khans not quite as insane as you’re use to. And he has a very good reason for being slightly insane. Kirk is tortured by Klingons at one point.
This is actually my favorite ST story. And it’s hella long. It’s one of two, million plus word stories I’m reading.

First I applaud your reading ambition. And I will definitely check this out. I do enjoy a good Kirk/Khan story

I feel a little bad about recommending this one because I got an update yesterday saying it’s on hold until fall, the writers got to much going on right now. But I’m just a greedy little brat.

Oh I get it, I'm the same way. But this is a pretty hefty fic so I think I can Pace myself in such a way that I don't run out of story too quickly. Maybe lol
