You should have warned me it was sad! I am much more teary at damn near 4AM than normal Chelsea!

She wants to pull him to her, standing next to the hull of the ship, run her fingers through his hair and kiss him (but no, they’ve had their last kiss, his first.)

I hate the idea that she has to adhere to this. It makes the 'I could bloody well kiss you' scene in Flesh and Stone so much sadder, and she just laughs it off because she has to.

UGH MY HEART.

IT ACHES.

PS. It was awesome even though it made me cry :(

I agree about it being so horrible that they have to accept this! So sad for a Sunday morning!!! But well done. This is EXACTLY why I ache for River Song...and that truly, truly, truly has NEVER happened to me for a fictional character in all my life!

I should always post fic on Sunday morning, so I can be evil like that.

My poor River. I just - argh, I can't even!

I JUST WROTE OUT THIS GIANT REPLY TO YOU. And then my internet crashed. It was about why it kills me and also, that she tries to sacrifice herself for him in that episode but she can't, because she already has and the Doctor can't let her because of that, because if not for her he wouldn't even exist. (Which is interesting, because it's kind of the same for her.)

I appear to have made people cry on a Sunday morning. I don't know whether to be amused or hand out tissues.

My heart always aches for these two. They just need a happy ending, or at least something like that, because nobody ever gets a happy ending on this show. Take, Rose Martha Donna Sarah-Jane for instance.

My heart aches for her, constantly. Because there's nothing she can do. I mean, there's plenty she can do - and it is my personal head canon that she chose this path she's on, but there's no way she can choose how this path plays out, because there's nothing she can do about all the spoilers and all the things she can't tell him, and she's going to go through heart ache.

... I appear to have ranted.

This was beautiful, sweetie. Haunting, sad, joyous and vibrant.

Thank you for this.

You're welcome.

I find myself saying that a lot. I'm one of those people you don't want to watch TV with, because especially with Doctor Who, I end up talking back to my TV. And I find myself saying, "Ohh, River" quite a lot.

LOL!! Together we'd probably miss the whole program while interacting with it! *Grins*

I act like the people in the TV can hear me, it's terrible. I only recently caught myself doing it. I tend to use endearments.
