I saw this on CNN while at McD with the kids. Had to watch it once I got home, then spread a little country music with a message (normally I am not into country music). I hope it helps the guy spotlight United Airlines' bad practice. You can read his message at

For example, your book from a couple of weeks ago. The mailperson didn't care enough to treat your package correctly. I've had the same issue with eBay purchases.
I think I've mentioned the story of the man in Chicago I spoke to when I worked for Alorica/Princeton that had a monitor that was delivered full of water. The FedEx guy dropped it off and ran, basically. Then FedEx sent someone out, who looked at it and walked away. On the third day, they sent someone to pick up the damaged package.
And the way the UPS guys handle stuff, as well as DHL and others. I've watched them drop and fumble and deliberately throw stuff. I'm amazed more stuff isn't delivered damaged.
It's disappointing that it happens, but I'm not surprised.
